Invisible emmie character traits3/8/2023 ![]() Move the dummy into the the fighting area, just close enough for Kniles to initiate conversation. To make this fight really easy, while kinda breaking the solo rule, you can pick up one of the companios as a talking dummy. ![]() If only you could keep Sucker Punch and still Dual Wield. Do NOT use your Furry ability, that replaces Sucker Punch, once you dual wield daggers.Keep this no further than once you get the daggers from Kniles the Flenser, since you would be lacking damage. Making it possible to set a knock down effect on the enemy. Having only one Dagger can be advantageous, since you get the Sucker Punch ability.Note: While Play Dead requires 0AP to cast, you still need at least 1AP to cast it, since the game auto ends your turn once you reach 0AP.Optionally you can always* (*almost) press Play Dead and Waypoint travel out of there or Fly far enough from the fight to disengage and come back fully recharged.Depending on the fight, enemies and envoirement you can push on, change position with Wings or Cloak and Dagger, tank a LITTLE, but really just a little, or sneak hide until your CDs are down.Somewhere in those two turns, the target should die.Now it's time to backstab the hell out of your target.Once your turn is up again, you should have to consecutive turns, the last of the round (since you delayed turn) and the first of next round (since you really have to make sure to keep your initiative higher than anyone elses.).Either skip your next turn or move into position if necessary. Most enemies will just pass the turn if they cannot see you.Now you should have about 1AP left, just enough to apply Chameleon Cloak. You should be able to do about 2 Backstab Attacks.Use Backlash to deal Backstab damage plus jump into backstab range.Since if you attack engage an enemy, he turns toward you, you should not backstab engage an enemy that would have it's back against the wall afterwards.Engage: Probably best to sneak attack your enemies to get that bit of damage in that doesn't cost AP just yet.Buff before engaging, Peace of Mind should do it, but if you are feeling a bit underpowered, you can switch to Human and use Encourage as well.Chloroform, very situational, but it can make some fights easier.Teleport (the teleporter gloves you get in Fort Joy are enough if you get an additional TP scroll before you leave Fort Joy). For 1AP you get a 5 turn no CD spell to fly around pretty much everywhere you want, plus you are not affected by satuses on the ground. Wings, polymorph is awesome, probably the skill that allows for the most flexibility of stabbing people, evading them and stabbing them again. One shotting enemies is not that common, and therefore you are better off just backstabbing through the armor than piercing it with a skill that only half damages the enemy and then is on CD for ages. Sawsooth Blade, can probably be skipped, I haven't found myself using it often.Cloak and Dagger (1AP teleport w/o breaking sneak).Important: Since you do not want to level strength, but need strength to complete some quests, like opening the coffin in the Surrey Tomb, remember Peace of Mind also buffs your strength just enough. But really, you should not play this in a way that requires your doge skill to be anywhere above 0. Put everything you have to much of into Polymorph, since that gives you additional attribute points, that double thanks to Lone Wolf, which makes your damage increase much larger if you put those point into Finesse, at a cost of getting less Doge %.Put as much into the specific schools that you need. And killing most NPCs sooner or later, later is mostly better, awards much needed XP. Not necessarily worth, since you get most of the skillbooks if you kill them anyway. Only problem? Everyone can only be pickpocketed once. Then let them search you and show you've got nothing on you. You can steal with one, transfer to character at the other end of town, while a third character is talking to the character you are stealing from to buy you all the time in the world, stealing the right items. Additionally stealing is way easier with multiple characters. But since you are only paying for one character, money is never really a problem. Thiefery is probably one of the best choices for lockpicking and gettings gear without paying for it. ![]() The AP cost doesn't get smaller and you still have your much superior invisibility for sticky situations anyway.
